What would these places be like without pigeons?

Today I observed some pigeons that were flattering around happily...Then suddenly a brusq comment of a woman: "These nasty birds are horrible and ugly...I wish they didn't exist!" My immediate thought: "What would the world be without pigeons?" So many place come to my mind of which I would not like to miss the presence of those snattery birds. This is why I wanted to remember the beautiful panaroma of a pigeon-crowed square in some place of the world...
